Welcome!

Boy Scout Troop 148 is located in beautiful Temecula, California, in the Tahquitz District of the California Inland Empire Council. We are chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4089, in Temecula, California.

We target at least one overnight event each month. Traditional backpacking and regular horizon-expanding events such as aviation, canoeing, cycling, local and wilderness camping are highlighted, promoting teamwork and leadership, as well as individual skills.

Kevin’s Eagle Court of Honor

Kevin’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be on March 22nd at St. Thomas. Everyone from the troop is welcome and encouraged to attend to recognize Kevin for all of his accomplishments. Please sign up on the troops webpage.

Blood Drive

We are hosting a blood drive at St. Thomas on April 6th from 9am to 2pm. Make sure to share the provided link to family and friends if they wish to donate some life saving blood. We are also looking for a few scouts to welcome donors. 

Rose Haven Heritage Garden Mulching Party

The garden is looking for a few strong workers to move mulch around the garden for their annual mulching party on March 8th from 9am to noon. Help them out and earn a few service hours. Parents will need to stay as well to supervise their scouts. 

Pinewood Derby

Pack 148 has invited you to build your own Pinewood Derby car and race it on March 1st. They are asking for a $10 donation in order To host the event. Please RSVP on the troops webpage in order for them to know how much foot to get. I know more than 2 scouts want to race cars. The event is from 11am-2pm. 

January Campout

It’s time sign up for January’s Cooking Campout.  These cooking competitions are always fun and a lot is learned in the kitchen. The theme is Southern Cooking.

Christmas Party

We are having our Christmas Party on December 17th.  Everyone is welcome to join and we would love to see you all.  It is free for all registered scouts and scouters.  Parents and siblings are a small $5 fee.  Sign up on the troops webpage as we do provide dinner.  All youth (scouts and siblings) are welcome to bring a wrapped gift valued at $20 suitable for our scouting aged youth.
